WordCamp is for WordPress users, by WordCamp users. It does take a small group of people to start meeting months before the WordCamp to do all of those pesky details like getting a venue and starting up a legal entity to deal with registration and budgets. Here is the team that has been working behind the scenes to help launch the very first WordCamp Seattle.
Josh has been passionate about using WordPress since he started using it in 2006. Besides helping businesses and individuals adopt WordPress as their CMS, he enjoys stretching the limits of WordPress. Josh has his hands in a number of projects that hopefully will make it possible for him to work with WordPress full time. He occasionally updates his blog at picklewagon.com.
Calvin has been blogging since 2002. He is a web developer and Wordpress aficionado who uses his skills to work with individuals and businesses to create their online presence using Wordpress as both a blogging engine and a Content Management System. He also does web development work using PHP, Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flex 3, ActionScript 3, and more.

Bean has been blogging since 2002. Over the years, she has played with just about every blogging platform that was available. Three years ago she tried WordPress and has never looked back! She helps her clients translate their passion into their blogs for Fun, Fame and Fortune. She has been teaching WordPress blogging at LVS Online for the last two years. Her main blog these days is Wine Beer Washington where she gets to live and blog her own passions about great wine, beer and food and support and promote local businesses. In addition, she works with wineries to help them create their own social media strategies.
Dan is an entrepreneur and a big believer in the open source community. He has been blogging on and off since 2001, and only this year fell in love with WordPress (thanks to version 2.7) for its flexibility, scalability and enthusiastic community. Currently he uses WordPress to blog about his and his fiance’s adventures in the Wine Country and as a CMS for a Seattle restaurant coupons site.
