We’re Official

After many phone calls and lots of hard work, we have officially found a venue to hold WordCamp Seattle. Adobe has kindly agreed to hold the event at their offices in Fremont on September 26, 2009.
We’d like to thank Ryan Stewart from Adobe for helping us so that we can hold the event at Adobe. We are all familiar with the knowledge and tools that Adobe provides to the blogging community and the Internet in general.
For those interested in sponsoring WordCamp Seattle, we will be posting details very soon. We are also looking for volunteers. Please let us know if you are interested. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.

That is great news! Thanks to Ryan Stewart, Matt May, and everyone at Adobe for the support.
This sounds interesting. I think I’ll definitely try to make a trip down to Vancouver to attend this. Thanks to everyone who’s organizing it!
Oops, I mean FROM Vancouver. D’oh!
I would love to volunteer, Ritama Haaga referred me to this site after I met her at a web designers meeting here in Bellingham WA
I was going to Seattle for Coffee Fest with my girl, but now I’m taking a day and coming to this. I randomly decided to check on the latest WordCamps for my area (Nashville, TN) and saw this.
Who would have thought I’d fly to Seattle on the same weekend as a WordCamp.
Not sure if there is much I can do from here, but i’ll keep up to date on things!!
I’m interesting in sponsorship as well as possible volunteering. Please get in contact with me via the email attached to this comment if you can answer some questions about the event.
